Posts#
Posts are built with ABlog, an extension for Sphinx that adds blog features such as posts, tags, categories, archives, and feeds on top of plain Restructured Text pages.
A page becomes a blog post by adding ABlog’s post directive near the top, as shown in Restructured Text. ABlog then uses
the blog_title, blog_baseurl, and blog_authors settings in conf.py to generate the archive, author,
and category pages under _build/html/blog.
https://ablog.readthedocs.io/manual/ablog-commands/
start start a new blog project
build build your blog project
clean clean your blog build files
serve serve and view your project
post create a blank post
deploy deploy your website build files
See 'ablog <command> -h' for more information on a specific command.
$ ablog clean && ablog build && ablog serve # Ctrl+C to stop the local server
$ ablog serve -r # rebuild and reload on changes
ablog build writes to _website by default, whereas sphinx-build (used in Build) writes to
_build/html.
See Build for how ablog build/deploy fits into publishing this site, and
GitHub Pages for the deployment target itself.
